Five Gørklintgård horses among top scoring youngsters

At the Danish championships for young horses, so far five Gørklintgård horses are in the running for a spot in the finale.

In the championship for four-year-olds, Parodie by Dream Boy / Sandro Hit has made her debut by scoring 81.400 point, ridden by Camilla Ahlers Pedersen.

Among the five-year-olds, three Gørklintgård horses have done very well.  In Ringsted, Fantasi by Gørklintgårds Santos / Don Schufro started out by scoring 81.800 point, with Emma Ahlberg in the saddle. In Billund, two gelding participated in the championship qualifyer - and they were both rewarded with amazing grades, including 9.0 for potential for both of them. Scorpion by Gørklintgårds Santos / Don Schufro scored 86.800 while Filou by Fürst Romancier / Sandro Hit walked his way to 84.400. Both were ridden by Sissel Bille Jakobsen, who also owns Filou. Scorpion is still on our hands, and the same applies to younger full brothers of both horses.

In the championships for seven-year-olds, Torrero by Temptation / Sunny-Boy scored 72.670 points and a fifth place at the qualifyer in Billund, ridden by Lotte Straarup.

There are another four qualifyers left before the 40 best four-year-olds, the 20 best five-year-old, the 20 best six-year-olds and the 12 best seven-year-olds are selected for the finals.
