They are definitely not the prettiest horses we have. Nor are they the ones we spent most time grooming. But they are definitely the most important horses in the barn.
It is, of course, the broodmares that we are talking about - they are the foundation of the stud. Therefore, December 2017 will be dedicated to the ladies that deliver a crop of foals each year. Every day we will tell stories about a new mare, both those who adorn the fields now and those we remember.
