Genova is born in 2002 at Gørklintgård. Her pedigree is Carano / Leandro, and her dam is the elite mare Grendalin and her sister the elite mare Granada. The bay mare turned out to be quite a double threath - apart from her elastic and roomy gaits, she also knows how to jump and at her saddle grading she was awarded 9 for technique and 8.5 for capacity.

After her grading she was quickly added to our broodmare band. Her first foal, the colt Santos by Sunny-Boy was selected for Danish Warmblood's Elite Show and later approved for breeding. Among Genova's other progeney is the foal finale contestant Grace, the RDH mare Gazelle and the mare Gaia whose dressage education is in full swing. the same can be said about Hayden, Genova's 7-year-old son by Hotline. In 2014 the gelding has won several medium level dressage tests and has carried his rider, Jana Christin Sönnichsen, to the national finale for junior riders.
