Early 2017 was windy and rainy but also had a few incredibly beautiful winter evenings - and on one of them, 3-year-old Filou was photographed.  





In March there is only one event that counts in Denmark, Danish Warmblood's stallion show. While Revolution attracted lots of weel-earned attention in Herning, his son Royal attratced attention in our yard. He was a very independent and happy foal. 






He also demonstrated a very nice canter - and even started practising his pirouettes.  




As the weather got warmer, the foals could start speding 24/7 outside. Their favourite place to nap was i the straw stack, and Caspian found it very hard to get up in the mornings. 





More and more foals arrived. One of them was Feline who got her name on the facebook page - and turned out to be quite to mover. 



 


In early summer, the colts moved to their summer pasture - and they seemed pretty happy about it. 





In the summer of 2017 we also had a wholly new experience. We often receive pictures and greetings from sold horses but we have never before been sent a video. 16-year-old Natacha Brøndum did just that, demonstrating what just a few months of collaboration can do for a horse and its owner.   
 

Følfolden blev efterhånden fyldt op, og det betød mange klaprende hove, når flokken skulle flyttes rundt. 





The foals enjoyed a visit from some very young riders.





And a visit from a foxy friend!

The pasture was not just home to kids and foxes - there also turned out to be a mighty funny-looking foal out there.

 


The colts spent their time on playing.
 

... while the foals were a bit more quiet - and on a September day so quiet that we got very nervous. The filly Lady were found all by herself. Luckily she had just fallen asleep and had not noticed the herd leaving.

At the end of the year we could present af new horse for sale: 3-year-old Guiana by Dream Boy / Don Schufro.
